This project involved branding the end-of-year graphic design showcase at Fanshawe College. As a graduating student, I was responsible for creating the event’s identity, promotional materials, and digital assets that represented the Class of 2025 and our collective journey as designers. My final design was chosen to represent the graduating class.

Objective
The goal was to develop a cohesive, bold, and professional visual identity for the showcase—something that captured our evolution from students to industry-ready designers. The brand needed to resonate with faculty, classmates, employers, and visitors alike.

Research & Inspiration
I studied previous year showcases and drew inspiration from editorial design, portfolio presentations, and the process of drafting and refining ideas. The concept of a "final draft" felt symbolic of our growth—messy beginnings leading to polished outcomes.

Concept & Development
The name "The Final Draft" was chosen to reflect the culmination of our creative process. I designed a typographic logo with a balance of boldness and clarity, accompanied by subtle background elements  to reference the design process. A limited  palette was used with a vibrant yellow accent for contrast and energy and blue and purple for calm.

Outcome & Reflection
The identity was well-received and helped unify the showcase across digital and physical spaces. It highlighted our professionalism while still feeling creative and personal. Through this project, I strengthened my skills in branding, layout design, and creating flexible assets for multi-platform use.
